If you are considering commissioning me, please read the terms below.  After that, if you're still interested, please e-mail me at cbernard @ cbernardillustration.com (or, if preferable, message me here).

I accept PayPal only (cbernard @ cbernardillustration.com) and require payment before I will begin your commission.

Please provide me with an accurate description of what you'd like up front, including character references and descriptions, color schemes, a particular pose, or a certain feel.

If you want to see a sketch for approval before I go to color, let me know up front. Unless I have personally made an error, I will make three small revisions to finished images before charging $1+ per fix.

If I don't feel confident that I can draw it, I'm not going to accept it - it is nothing personal. I will not draw anything graphically sexual or violent, nor will I draw copyrighted characters that do not belong to you for monetary gain (with the exception of gifts of friend's characters intended for them).

I retain the rights to display the art (ie, on my web galleries, etc., with credit given where applicable). You may use the work however you like as long as it is not for commercial gain and you do not claim to own copyrights to the artwork itself.

I get really nervous every time I think about doing self-promo-y stuff, but I have to get over that, so I hope you guys will forgive me posting this a few times in the next few days:

I submitted my most recent poppy illustration to Threadless here (something had suggested I do with the original ages ago), and while I realize the chances of it actually going to print are slim, I would be about 8000 shades of grateful to anyone who takes the time to score it for me.  SO GRATEFUL.  Also, if you like it and want to spread it around, I would appreciate it.  Thank you for your time, guys!
