Sucka-Fish tagged me for this, so i guess i will do it.
--Your name?

--If possible, your age?
21
--When did you start drawing?
It's kind of weird, actually... I drew a ton when I was a little kid (mostly, I would "illustrate" stories in my head), but then I sort of fell out of it for a while until 8th grade or so when I met a few friends who liked to draw.
--Which hand do you use for drawing?
Right
--Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Female, definitely. I have to think a lot more when drawing guys.
--Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Short - I actually have a really difficult time with long hair, but that may be owing to the fact that I don't draw it all that often.
--Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
The left (pretty sure there's science behind that).
--Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Side view. I have a terribly difficult time implying dimension with a front view (something to work on /tear).
--What do you have problems in drawing?
Animals, perspective, SHOULDERS AHHH, necks, hands, faces, everything ever
--What do you like to draw?
robot/android chicks, cats, & scruffy, bitter middle-aged men
--Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Mostly digital. It's not really an issue of preference so much as I never trust myself enough to use/waste nice supplies unless school is forcing me to.
--Where do you start drawing from?
I ... don't know? I mean, I usually start with a loose underdrawing, though admittedly if I don't and am drawing a person, I tend to start with the lips or nose for some bizarre reason.
--what is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I have a tendency to attack too much too early. Like, to start thinking in a crazy range of colors before value when painting, that sort of thing. I've been working on remedying that and it's helping a ton, though.
--Any tips for coloring/shading?
no ;_;
--How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
It depends. I've spent like 60 hours on some things, an hour on others, and from experience some of the things i've spent the longest on turn out the worst. IT MEANS NOTHING
--What music do you listen to while you draw?
Whatever Winamp feeds me.
--How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
:E I don't know. Not that my ideas are that exciting, but most of the things I do that I like are a result of a quick mental image being gradually refined through a bunch of sketches. So ... it depends?
--Your favorite drawing utensils?
my tablet

also i love love love using ballpoint pens and crappy markers. I CANT DAMAGE THOSE DAMMIT
--Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
i think i use a lot of green, turquoise, and red-orange.
--Your favorite style(s)?
I don't know? What does this even mean? I'm pretty hard NOT to please; I like a ton of styles. I guess, if this is what it means, I am enamoured with loose, simple, fluid comic styles. Hajime Ueda, Cyril Pedrosa, Gipi, and Craig Thompson come to mind.
--What kind of artist are you aiming for?
In my most ideal of worlds, I would be a concept artist designing environments and/or characters for animation. I also have super secret villainous dreams of drawing comics on the side someday, though not necessarily for print.
Thank You
