Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I'm 20.

I'm so sad.  I was such a geek when I was 14-16 and used to dream of miraculously pokemon-style morphing into some sort of super awesome not-geek when I turned 20, but alas, it's not to be.  I feel as geeky as ever.

That's the thing about birthdays in general - you expect to feel different when you're years ahead of a benchmark year, but we change so gradually that we just feel the same when we get there.  :c  oh pout

Anyway, here's my update and explanation for my prolonged and mostly-continued absence:  I moved to Chicago for three weeks, had a bit of a mental breakdown, and moved back home at the urging of my psychiatrist.  If not obvious, my emotional state is not so great right now, so I really just don't have the guts for the internet.

i hope those of you that I still owe sketches and such will understand, and I'm sorry if I take forever to respond to things, but I can't do much about it right now.

I hope that everyone is doing well !

aww I feel the same way <3 I've been about the same more or less immature than when I was younger, but not much has changed =___=; Yea I get depressed all the time since I was little and after a while you get used to it.. sort of XD;; ? or maybe it gets worse haha I can't tell anymore

For me it got worse, so I went in for help because I wasn't able to deal with it myself anymore. Talking things out with an unbiased party has helped me a lot.
