I’m far from a creative writer, so this will be a little cut and dry, but I think the project I’m about to expound on is a wonderful idea and am hoping to turn a few more heads in its direction:
A friend and fellow community member, ~poftd, has put together a charity auction to benefit disaster relief (more information below). The auction features 23 different artists:
The auction will be divided into four batches featuring 6 artists each, and bidding will begin at $25 with $1 minimum bid increases. The bid ladders provided will indicate what type of art is being offered in each price range.
The first auction has already begun <a href=”[link]>here</a>.

They are all wonderful artists donating their time for a good cause, so it is definitely worth checking out.
The proceeds of this auction will be donated to Gleaning for the World:
“Gleaning for the World is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing life-saving support to communities in critical need throughout the world. They basically provide medical and essential supplies to humanitarian projects worldwide. According to Charity Navigator, 99.7% of Gleaning for the World's funds go towards its programs. Donation-wise, we are planning to donate under the specification of "disaster relief", so as to help more than simply one area. At the moment, the organization's focus is on Myanmar.”
